Prayer Requests

We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for His constant guidance, love and sovereignty.  We can hardly believe we are at this point in our journey to Emalyn!  In just a few short days she will be in our arms forever!  We are also incredibly grateful for the community of friends, family and believers He has surrounded us with.  It is with full hearts that we begin the adventure of a lifetime.  We covet your prayers as we travel, meet Emalyn for the first time and begin our lives together as a family of four.  Below are some specific ways to pray for us over these next few weeks. 

Emalyn:

·         Pray that the Holy Spirit would prepare her to meet us and for her to be able to give up her survival skills in order to learn family skills.

·         Pray for an immediate connection to us, for her not to have fear or anxiety and that she can trust us; pray for her to be at total peace during this scary time.

·         Pray that she will know deep in her soul that we are her parents and will care for, love her, provide food for her, protect her from now on.

Adair:

·         Pray that the Holy Spirit would prepare her for the addition of her sister to our family.

·         Pray that she will be secure in her place in our family and of ours and Jesus’ love for her.

·         Pray that we would know how to parent her during this time.

·         Pray for her to be welcoming and willing to share her mom and dad with Emalyn.

Hank and Brecca:

·         Pray that God would prepare our hearts spiritually and emotionally to meet and parent Emalyn.

·         Pray that our marriage would be strengthened and we would present a united front to our daughters.

·         Pray for us to have wisdom to know what Emalyn needs.

·         Pray for Brecca to be comfortable as we travel and for no pregnancy-related surprises or health concerns while we are away.

·         Pray that Myla Grant will come on time, but not early.

Our family and travel:

·         Pray that all the details of our trip go smoothly and for all paperwork to be in order- that nothing would add stress or take away joy from this special trip.

·         Pray for physical health and safety; pray against any fear or anxiety.

·         Pray for us the four of us to bond together quickly as a family.

·         Pray for us to be overwhelmed by God’s presence and our love for Emalyn.

·         Pray that our family would be a blessing to everyone we meet.
