We had our final home study interview this morning! Now, we just have to wait for our social worker, Amy, to write our home study. Once she has written it and we have approved it, it will go to immigration. Immigration then has to approve us to adopt a child and agrees to grant our adopted child citizenship. This process usually takes three to four months, during which we will be "pushing" more paperwork and preparing our dossier.
On a humorous note, we took pictures the other day for Adair's passport and all of our visas. I thought it was pretty cute to see all of our heads lined up like mugshots (with the exception of the smiles), so here they are.
